چکیده
Purpose: To explore how the selection of threshold b-value impacts Intravoxel Incoherent Motion (IVIM) diffusion parameters of PF (f), D slow (D), and D fast (D*) values and their performance for liver fibrosis detection. Materials and Methods: Fifteen healthy volunteers and 33 hepatitis-b patients were included. With a 1.5 T MR scanner and respiration gating, IVIM data was acquired with 10 b-values of 10, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 150, 200, 400, and 800 s/mm 2 . Signal measurement was performed on right liver. Segmented-unconstrained analysis was used to compute IVIM parameters, and six threshold b-values between 40 and 200 s/mm 2 were compared. PF, Dslow, and Dfast values were placed along the x-axis, y-axis, and z-axis, and a plane was defined to separate volunteers

OBJECTIVES The aims of this study were to implement and systematically evaluate the performance of a new parameter-free segmented algorithm for analysis of diffusion imaging data using a combined intravoxel incoherent motion and diffusion kurtosis imaging (IVIM-DKI) model of spin diffusion in comparison with the simpler intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) model. MATERIALS AND METHODS A multis...

Accurate preoperative differentiation of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in the setting of cirrhotic liver is of great clinical significance because the treatment and prognosis of these entities differ markedly. Through a retrospectively research, we sought to determine the diagnostic performances of intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) and diffusion weig...

BACKGROUND This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic value of the D value, D* value, and f magnitude for identifying benign and malignant hepatic tumors using intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI). MATERIAL AND METHODS Data of 89 cases (123 lesions) with hepatic tumor confirmed by surgical pathology and postoperative follow-up were retrospectively collected. Amo...
متن کاملNon-parametric intravoxel incoherent motion analysis in patients with intracranial lesions: Test-retest reliability and correlation with arterial spin labeling
Intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) analysis of diffusion imaging data provides biomarkers of true passive water diffusion and perfusion properties. A new IVIM algorithm with variable adjustment of the b-value threshold separating diffusion and perfusion effects was applied for cerebral tissue characterization in healthy volunteers, computation of test-retest reliability, correlation with arter...
